Overview

The G5 Cable Motion gym system lets you do it all–from traditional strength training to movement improvement exercises–in the comfort of your own home. The G5 is equipped with Cable Motion technology, which fuses three optimized V-groove pulley zones, three ergonomic handle attachments, a foot strap, and a removable bench to produce an endless range of innovative functional strength exercises. The Cable Motion technology gives you control of your entire exercise routine, with the freedom to perform traditional exercises, the functional moves of specific activities, or total-body movements that strengthen your core. For example, the G5 lets you mimic the motion of a golf swing, a tennis swing, or a baseball swing, helping you strengthen the specific muscles you need for each sport. As an alternative, you can perform traditional chest exercises (chest press, pec flies, etc.), shoulder/back exercises (lat pulldown, seated row, shoulder press, lateral raise, etc.), bicep and tricep exercises (curl, tricep extension, etc.), and leg exercises (standing leg extension, hip abduction, calf raise, etc.). Finally, the G5 supports a host of core workouts, like abdominal crunches with the pulley, seated ab crunches, and oblique twists.

From there, each component is attached with precision and care.

Other features include Quick Lock cable end attachments that encourage quick and easy exercise adjustments; a removable, adjustable bench with six angles; an ergonomically enhanced design that’s built for smooth resistance; a 160-pound weight stack; and an instructional DVD. The G5 measures 89 by 83 by 54 inches (W x H x D) and carries the following warranties: limited lifetime on the frame, welds, pulley, and parts, three years on upholstered pads and cables.

Use this 3 times a week and love it!
I do not personally own this gym system (yet)...it's in my apartment complex's gym and let me just say when I do eventually move into my own house I am definitely buying this unit; hopefully that gives you some insight into how someone who uses this machine multiple times a week feels about it.
