Bayou Total Trainer 4000 XL Home Gym (Patriotic Logo) While many home gyms have 6 levels of resistance the Total Trainer 4000 XL Home Gym has 11 levels of resistance that will push your workout to the max. The 4000 XL is loaded with attachments and is equipped with the Super Tuff TPU-90-AE Roller. These attachments turn your 4000 XL home gym into a multi station gym workout. The glide board on the 4000 XL is 4” inches longer than the DLX making it a total of 46” in length. It comes fully assembled and has a shipping weight of 97 lbs. The maximum user height is 6′ 7”.

BAD GLIDE BOARD
I purchased this TT and it arrived with a defective glideboard. I contacted BF and they recommended that I change the rollers on the glideboard. When the rollers arrived I noticed a problem while changing the rollers with the glide channel on the glideboard. It was too narrow where the pan head pin was installed. I contacted BF again and they sent me a used glide channel a week later. The used glide channel did not have a pan head pin installed. I contacted BF again and they told me to rem .... Read more

Total Trainer 4000XL - good value
This is pretty much a first impressions review.

It arrived earlier than the shipping estimate, and was packaged in a double box. The machine is easy to set up, so easy that the hardest part was actually opening the two layers of boxes.

I think it is great! It is well constructed, and came with extras of many of the parts that will wear out (rope, pulleys, etc). It comes with 2 DVD's, a workout booklet, and a manual. Because I had so much reference material,I was confident I was using it correctly and I created a workout routine right away. It come with the handlebar and foot board that only comes with the more expensive total gyms. I believe it is built better than the total gyms in that price range. .... Read more
